More Mural Love.

I'm still in mural loving mode from posting my pictures of the walls of Lyon, anyway here is another organization that does something similar but different style. Love Letter (love the name) involves mostly beautiful lettering. They are from Philadelphia, USA. Definitely a must see.

Check their webpage for more @ http://www.aloveletterforyou.com/

PS: It also wakes my curiosity of doing a mural!

The Walls of Lyon, France

In Lyon I came across trompe l'oeils murals! Here you see many buildings in ONE wall.
A library!!!
These murals are done by a pretty awesome organization called CITE CREATION

Important characters of France

Can you find the Little Prince?

I didn't get to see all the murals, but was so happy with the few I saw.

The view from my Hotel, Lyon/France.

It's always nice to just sit and sketch, and even more when you are at a new place.I'm also thinking of joining Urban Sketchers, a pretty cool organization about artists sketching in locations all over the world. If you haven't heard about them check them out at http://www.urbansketchers.org/.

So you will see me posting a lot of sketches on location here in the blog, I also created a set on my flickr account (which I barely use, but I have a feeling I will start using it a whole lot more) where I will be uploading my pictures.

The U.N. Nations and The Red Cross Museum in Geneva.

Being in Geneva  it was a must for me to visit the U.N Palais de Nations and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum. Two organizations that want to make the world a better place.

The United Nations and some of it's conferences room, My favorite the one with the colorful ceiling:
