Brandi Milne

When doing my Influence Map I couldn't believe I haven't shared one of my favorite, sweet and inspirational illustrator Brandi Milne (even her name sounds cool). I actually first saw her work at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City, CA. She also visited my school to give a talk, and she's a really sweet, funny and charismatic person. Her illustrations really reflect the person she is. I love her style from how she draws her sweet characters from flora, fauna and humans, her color palette has a candy touch to it, and it almost feel as if she've been to candy land or wonderland!

Go visit her Website @ http://brandimilne.com

  1. How cool that you've met her and had her come to your school. What school was this? Corey Helford is a cool gallery, not too far from where I live in L.A. I know it well. Brandi's work does remind me of candyland. You worded it well.

  2. It was Otis College of Art and Design, and yesh when I saw her and recognized her work I almost passed out, she brought her children's book with her to sell, so you bet I was the first in line to buy it and have her sign it :)

  3. I love Brandi Milne's work as well, everything's so sweet and fantastic~!<3 I wish I was there while she came to visit otis :*(

P.S. Romina, no, i have been waiting, but seems like that little postcard enjoyed traveling around the world too much, never find the way to my home.>.<
